How JETLG handles personal information.
What we collect
We collect personal information only when you give it to us: for example, names, affiliations, email addresses and ORCID iDs supplied with a submission, a review or an enquiry. Our website may also record standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs and through essential cookies.
How we use it
Information supplied to the journal is used solely for editorial and publication purposes: managing submissions and peer review, communicating with authors and reviewers, and publishing author names, affiliations and ORCID iDs alongside published articles. We do not sell or share personal information for marketing.
Retention
Editorial correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record. Published author information forms part of the permanent record.
Your rights
