Discoverability
Indexing & Abstracting
JETLG is built from the ground up to meet the technical and editorial standards of major scholarly indexes.
JETLG is a new journal. In line with good practice, we will apply to indexing services as soon as each one’s eligibility criteria are met, and this page will be updated as applications are accepted. We do not claim any indexing that has not been granted.
Discoverability features
- Every article has its own permanent page with full bibliographic metadata (Highwire Press “citation_” tags) for Google Scholar, plus Schema.org ScholarlyArticle structured data.
- Full-text PDFs are linked from each article page.
- XML sitemaps are submitted to search engines.
- Open licensing (CC BY 4.0) and author ORCID iDs are recorded for every article.
Indexing roadmap
| Google Scholar | Article-level metadata in place from the first issue |
| ISSN | Online ISSN to be applied for on publication of the first issue |
| Crossref (DOI) | Membership planned so every article receives a DOI |
| DOAJ | Application after the journal has a publication history meeting DOAJ criteria |
| HeinOnline, SSRN, EBSCO, ProQuest | Applications planned after the first issues |
| Scopus, Web of Science (ESCI) | Applications once the journal has an established record of regular, timely publication |
